Diva's
on the move in Riverside, CA
You know what
I always say it's all about "Showing Up" so not
only did a group from the For You/NAFE and Diva's show up
and have some Fun in a beautiful park on Saturday afternoon,
but they each got paid $50.00 for 'Showing Up"
This all took place June 10th at the Fairmont Park "lily
Pond" area in Riverside, CA . We were part of an ABC
television taping of a new show to air in January called 50/50.
Not only were we in the audience but we also got to give our
comments on the show subject to the male guest for this weeks
segment. Can't tell you about the show but we will let you
know when in January 2007 it will air on ABC Television which
will be seen by viewers all over the world. You can then watch
it and see us all there, it is a new series of shows that
will kick off for the January season as a replacement show
for ABC.
It was amazing to see all the work that has to go into doing
a production in a park, they had to bring everything in from
LA and had a huge camera that moved all over the park area
I think you call those a boom camera, they had chairs brought
in for everyone to sit on, and it was really great, as it
totally gave us insight of what a remote television shoot
is like and how much work a production team has to do to make
it happen. They must of had 70 people or more working on the
production.
There were a total of 38 women invited to attend we had 10,
and I can tell you when the gentleman guest of this weeks
50/50 taping showed up and saw 38 women he did not know what
to think as he was not told the women would be there to give
him advice.
The show 50/50 focuses on one couple per episode. It is a
positive show that deals with relationship problems. The mission
is to figure out the core problems in a relationship and help
them work it out so they can move to that next level. So as
some of the problems were brought up many of our brilliant
ladies stood up and gave some great opinions to the host of
the show and the this weeks gentleman guest.
It is always fun when we find an excuse to "Show Up",
so keep watching those emails for more events to "Show
Up" at and be sure to support your networks by "showing
up", as if you were not a member you would not be hearing
about these Fun events.
