February
28th event for the 2nd Annual Have a Heart Awards...
Another great event that fits into "It's All About Showing
Up" we all learned how to be DIVA's that day. And as
you will see from the photo's we women learn fast and totally
enjoyed the FUN.
We also met
the authors of the book I Am Diva, as two of them were our
speakers and great, check out their web site at www.iamdiva.com
I totally
am a total workaholic but I have to tell you that playing
DIVA for two days was a Blast and I realized I must take time
for me and fun in my life. Check out their web site perhaps
you might want to become a DIVA too!
No matter
how busy we are in the workplace or at home we all need to
have fun, in their book they describe a Diva as.
They say
that I AM DIVA! is every woman's guide to outrageous living.
The book is published by Warner Books in NY.
On the inside
of the book they said:
To the women
we know and those we don't. We're all gorgeous, fabulous,
inspirational, scintillating babes who have the possibility
of achieving our wildest dreams. Enjoy your journey to being
totally, outrageously self-expressed.
(a paragraph
from the beginning of the book)
What is a
DIVA: She is the woman in you that wants to feel the joy of
life down to her bones. Who wants to be the very best woman
she can be, and to know the very fabric of her soul, she's
no longer indecisive or prone to living her life only to please
others. She's balanced, giving and taking in equal proportions,
for she knows that life is a flow of energy. Diva removes
the blocks to receiving that we set in place long ago, we
probably don't even remember them. As women, we were designed
to be cherished, to be adored and to receive. Somehow, though,
our generosity to others skewed the balance and we forgot
that we needed to give ourselves first, in order to have something
left for others. Divas restore this balance. A what is I,
AM? Why, nothing less that the quest to have it all: more
fun, more passion, more happiness and fulfillment at every
moment.
