Just returned from
taping at TRINITY BROADCASTING. All I can say is THANK YOU, and
THANK GOD. I have been using the power of The Secret my whole life.
I was a follower of Catherine Ponder, Andrew Carnegie, and all of
the books, AS A MAN THINKETH, THINK & GROW RICH, etc…
my whole life, so when all the books about INTENTION began to hit
the market I just embraced the fact that I was “endorsed”
by so many new age writers and speakers…
About a month ago—maybe
more, I sat down with my son to begin revising my LOGO and website,
which was much too limited for what I now do… In the process
we discussed the INTENTION to make a VIDEO INTERVIEW that I could
put onto my website and send out to clients, and potential places
that I might be able to set up speaking engagements.
I have always said,
“If they see and hear me speak, they’ll be thrilled,
but a brochure can’t give them that experience….”
WELL… THANKS
TO YOUR REFERRAL, AND SHOWING UP…. I now have a lovely 30
min. interview video to send out to schools, organizations, and
conference bureaus, and stream on my own website, to further my
mission about helping kids.

Because I "showed Up"
a few weeks ago at an E-Woman network I met Veronica, and at this
meeting guests we're allowed to put out information which I did
about the upcoming For You/NAFE Spring Fling event and because
Veronica "showed up" she picked up the flyer and wanted
to meet me and was eager to learn about our network and immediately
came to the next meeting of North Orange County For You and joined
and offered to help the network continue to grow and met Leigh,
and here is her story.

Hi Robbie,
If you recall I met you at the e-women mixer last month. I took
a big step, not only did I "show up" I also set up a
table at the mixer and as I was browsing the info table, I saw
the FYN /NAFE flyer and asked Aggie who was there from that network
and was introduced to you!
I went to the North Orange County For You/NAFE meeting, which
I am now a part of, as I joined that day, but also met Leigh Godart,
who is with ISOGENIX and also a For You/NAFE member.
She invited me to another group she is involved with and it has
helped me in my business in a great way!
I have been doing makeovers for my portfolio and learning how
to grow my business. I have a nice list of people I can refer
business to, so I can help their business grow also. All because
I "showed up" to a mixer I had been putting of for a
long time.

Deborah Saunders-Carlson was the founding director of the Santa
Monica/NAFE For You network and she did a great job, she had to
leave us for awhile to help her husband in his business and now

In 2 days, my life has changed all because I SHOWED UP!
Yesterday, I showed up to the Working Mother Media Multicultural
Women's Townhall at UCLA. It was so awesome. I got to see Marilyn
Johnson, VP of IBM, and many other ladies from our local region.
Plus I met Janet and Joan from Working Mother Media. I missed seeing
Carol though but I know she needed to be home with Julia.
At the townhall we openly dialoged about sensitive information regarding
women in general and issues that affected our individual cultural
categories (African American, Latina, Caucasian etc). The findings
were very enlightening to all that attended. I do hope that more
women show up next time. I made lots of contacts to further my speaking
career. It was a BLAST!!!!!!!!!
Today, I showed up to another event and an awesome opportunity was
solidified. Effective immediately I am spear heading San Bernardino
County and surrounding areas as a CERTIFIED CREDIT EXPERT for a
national credit repair and rapid re-scoring company. ANOTHER SPEAKING
OPPORTUNITY! I can show everyone how to go from a 600 FICO score
to an 850 FICO in no time plus delete derogatory items permanently
from their credit reports. Being in the real estate/mortgage/construction
industry for 18 years I know 9 out of 10 people need help!
I thank God and you for having my back and letting me know that

Sometimes, a person
will go about his/her day and the Stars will begin to align. This
is what happened the day that I met NAFE member Natasha Flowers,
with Apron Explosion. Natasha and I first met at a business expo
in Orange County and were getting ready to set up our booths for
the upcoming evening. She and I were the first people at the door
and had a chance to introduce ourselves while we waited for the
festivities to begin. Side note: It’s always good to be the
first person at a networking event and the last person to leave.
You never know what will happen during those extra few minutes of
networking. Anyway, it was then that I was introduced to Natasha’s
FANTASTIC apron products (check them out at www.apronexplosion.com/).
I recognized the quality of her product immediately because, formerly,
I was the Customer Service Manager for Bed Bath and Beyond. I immediately
thought that her aprons would be a perfect fit in the BB&B stores.
Through our initial contact I mentioned this and we promised to
keep in touch (the expo had started and it was time to set up for
the busy evening). Because it was such a great product, my wheels
were turning and the next day I contacted my former store manager
and District Merchandising Manager to tell them about the product.
They thought the aprons sounded great and wanted me to ask Natasha
for a few samples to pass on to the corporate headquarters. Luckily,
I didn’t even have to call Natasha because we met again at
the very next networking meeting. Again, 3 cheers for “Showing
Up”. Currently, Natasha’s samples have been forwarded
on to the corporate office and we are awaiting word of a positive
result. I am crossing my fingers for Natasha because she is a fantastic
person with a great product. I hope it goes well for her and I would
like to remind everyone reading this that none of this would have
happened if Natasha “Hadn’t Showed Up” because
we would have never met.
